Dr. Steve's interest in chiropractic began at what was supposed to be a touch football tournament. He was hit hard by an opposing player and sustained a neck injury. Luckily, a teammate was studying to become a chiropractor. After the game, the teammate adjusted Dr. Steve's neck. "Wow!" he exclaimed. "I've got to do this." The following Monday, Dr. Steve began the admission process at Logan College Of Chiropractics.
His career as a Doctor of Chiropractic started in Winston-Salem where he began to realize the most rewarding aspect of his work. For many injured patients whose doctors had given them no alternatives except to live with their pain and manage it with lifelong medication, Dr. Steve was able to help them find relief and do so without ANY medication. Helping patients heal from within is his goal.
Out of the office, Dr. Steve enjoys being on the golf course, playing with his three Basenjis: Annie, Tera and Stavlos affectively known as "Mr. Stavie". He also loves to dance; nicknamed "Mr. Motown" in his younger years. And Dr. Steve will be the first to tell you, the best thing that ever happened to him, was marrying his wife Lisa.
Now, three decades of experience and thousands of grateful patients later, Liringis Chiropractic has become one of the Triad's most reputable practices built on a genuine desire by doctors and staff to see their patients live without pain.
