Dr. LaTanya Bowman
Why I Became a Chiropractor
Dr. Bowman received her Bachelor of Science Degree in December 2000 for Athletic Training from North Carolina Central University, located in Durham, North Carolina. During her schooling she worked with the Duke University Athletic/Physical Therapy Department and Wake Forest Athletic Football Department, where she was exposed to different fields of Sports Medicine. Throughout her training with the athletes, she discovered how chiropractic was beneficial to their healing process.
From there, Dr. Bowman realized her dream in becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic. She continued her endeavors at Parker College of Chiropractic, located in Dallas, Texas. There she received her second Bachelor of Science Degree in Anatomy and her Doctoral Degree in Chiropractic in August 2005.
She began working as a Doctor of Chiropractic for three years in Memphis, Tennessee and continued her work in the field of chiropractic now recently in the Winston-Salem, North Carolina area. As her endeavors continues into the field of Chiropractic, she has learned how to use her knowledge and skills of Chiropractic and Sports Medicine to help patients maintain their optimal health and wellbeing. She is looking forward to sharing the experience of how Chiropractic can benefit everyone in all aspects of life and how to enjoy life to its fullest.
